![]() ![]() There are several specific reasons why I'm thinking of no longer using TheBrain for personal use, and I was going to list them but I'm pretty sure that anyone reading this post is familiar with the pros and cons of each. I feel that I'll be spending too much time on recording stuff and I'll have significantly less time to do stuff. And I'm not especially interested in integrating TheBrain with Evernote to try to get "the best of both worlds". I use it to create and review various structures and projects.įor personal use, I'm finding TheBrain to be too much work with not enough payoff. Evernote, with all its flaws and limitations, is quicker and easier to use. I decided to take the plunge and buy the Pro license and use TheBrain for business and personal use.įor business, TheBrain has been useful. I had used the trial TheBrain Pro Version for some business applications and I liked what I saw. Being a brain user you are already familiar with this concept.At the time, I had about 2,000 notes in Evernote and I was running into some problems with retrieval. If you've added another 10 items over the subsequent month to the original active thought, you can see how the linear systems can be inadequate. That is time you need to be reviewing the information, not searching for it.
